AFC Stoneham Summer Tournament 2026

AFC Stoneham wish to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made our Summer Tournament such a fantastic success this weekend. The club is immensely proud to now be running the largest summer tournament in the South of England and being able to put on such a fantastic event.

*70+ referees officiated across the weekend*

*15 separate age categories delivered*

*447 fixtures played*

*121 hours of football across two 12-hour days*

*39 different pitch layouts catering for 3v3, 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 football*

*8,842 website visitors*

*Over £2,000 raised for Abby's Heroes*

*Southampton FC attended with their Fast Feet and Soccer Schools programmes*

*More than 5,000 visitors welcomed to AFC Stoneham*

*Millions of memories created that will last a lifetime*

The effort of the clubs volunteers create opportunities for thousands of young people to play football, make memories, build friendships and be part of something truly special at our tournament.

A special thank you goes to some of our managers and youth players, who spent two full days moving goals, setting out pitches, installing barriers, litter-picking, refereeing and helping wherever needed. Many worked virtually non-stop throughout the weekend. It was fantastic to see everyone - from our youngest age groups right through to the First Team - volunteering together, supporting one another and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Epitomising what AFC Stoneham is all about.
